Prince Ali est un rapper issu de Toronto au Canada ! Il propose lui aussi deux albums en téléchargement gratuit sur son myspace. On peut se demander où est l'embrouille ?! Mais non avec "I miss 1994", Prince Ali et le producteur Incise nous livrent un album riche en production jazzy de qualité. Où on retrouve Louieville Sluggah d'O.G.C., Kev Brown et l'ubiquiste Craig G.
Un artiste à surveiller de près ...

Damu the Fudgemunk est un producteur de Washington D.C qu'on a pu apercevoir en 2007 aux côtés de Insight dans Y Society pour le magnifique album "Travel at your own pace".
Producteur s'inspirant largement de Pete Rock, il nous livre lui aussi des productions jazzy-hip hop utilisant des samples issus de la soul, de la funk, ou encore du jazz, ... Mais Damu est surtout un amoureux de la musique et un vrai fouineur de vinyls.
Le must c'est qu'il nous propose régulièrement sur son blog http://www.wonkabeats.blogspot.com/ des sons en téléchargement gratuit ! Que demandez de plus ?!
Bref, Damu The Fudgemunk est surement la marque de la nouvelle génération hip hop : tournée vers de bonnes grosses productions à l'ancienne (kick prononcé et snare qui claque sur un sax qui swing !) mais adaptée aux attentes du monde moderne.
